So tonight as I was frantically cooking dinner on the fly, I noticed the seasoning that my recipe called for was ‘thyme’. No prob, I thought, “I have plenty of thyme. I just put some into my spaghetti sauce Monday.” But when it came time for me to add the seasoning to my chicken stew, I opened the cupboard and found no thyme there. So I began agitatedly searching for my thyme, looking anywhere I thought it could be. At one point, I thought my brother or sister-in-law might have stolen my thyme, playing a joke on me. But I realized they hadn’t been here on Monday or any other day since, so I kept digging through the cupboards and drawers, looking for my thyme. My thyme was not up, and my thyme was not down. My husband came in from outside, hearing me huffing and puffing about my thyme, asking me what was up. I told him I lost my thyme. He assured me, he hadn’t taken my thyme, and suggested a few places I might look for it, and also wondered if I had used up all my thyme, or thrown my thyme away. At this point, my chicken stew had spent plenty of time on the stove, and was beyond the point where any thyme would be useful, so I gave up and used a different seasoning. Where did the thyme go? Apparently, I have no more thyme.
As promised…here is the clip of me taking a spill a few weeks ago on our mini ramp. Watch as many times as you want, it gets funnier each time. 🙂

Hello from my parents again! Above is one of my 7 Days self portraits, by the Colorado River. My hubby keeps complaining that I need to add photos to my posts, and he’s right, I do. However…it’s kind of a pain in the rear recently, and hopefully I’ll be able to make it as easy as it was soon, or I’ll get over it and just log the mileage.
We’re up at my parents this week as Kevin is running sound for a worship concert in a park up here, for Robin Mark. And, it also happens that my dad is playing bass for this concert as well. Double Whammy! And Fun!
Then we’re sticking around for a couple more days to do various other things (maybe have a date?), like fairs and rallies and what not. Should be fun. Pics to come soon.
Oh, and still working on the video issue- won’t be able to get that going until at the soonest, Saturday night.
Also, I forgot to add in the random Tuesday issue, we caught the mouse. Nuff said.
-So I’ve been baking my own bread now for about three months. Started out just dumping ingredients into the bread machine, and would get really tasty loaves, but man, they were so hard to slice due to the irregular shape. This last week I ventured into using my Kitchen@id mixer to make two loaves at a time and a better shape. I have been using the recipe from the booklet that came with the mixer, for whole wheat bread (no white here) and am not quite satisfied with it. Does anybody have a good recipe for whole wheat bread (preferably that uses honey instead of sugar), one that makes a nice, light and moist(er) loaf? Or just have some tips for me, the beginner bread maker?
-Selah is walking. I have attempted to video this to my best abilities (all obstacles included!) Now, I just have to figure out how to upload and edit the video so I can show you all. It is just about the cutest thing ever, how she just toddles along with her arms out, taking tiny baby steps, then Plop! falls on her bottom. Too good not to share.
-And a sidenote with the video issue, I’m still waiting to get a clip of myself falling on the skateramp the other day. Also too good not to share.
-My ten year high school reunion is this summer. I’m sure this is one of those things everybody debates with themselves about going to. However my debating came to an abrupt halt due to the fact that it was scheduled on my hubby’s birthday. (I can’t think of anything he’d rather not do on his birthday.) And even if it was on a different day, it is going to cost a minimum of $60 per person! Maybe I’m just uninformed or something, but that seems like a bit much in my book. All that to say, that I discovered I kind of did want to go to my reunion, which came as a surprise to me. I still have yet to figure out why. I can’t believe all the conflicting feelings that surround my high school experience. Anyway…
-Lets see, what else…oh yeah, I watched The Bucket List the other night and (cliche though it may be) felt inspired to write my own. I may be posting it in the sidebar or under my “about me” section in the near future.
-Also, in regards to my sidebar, you’ll notice that it is missing my Links. This is not because I don’t love you, it’s because I don’t know how to get them into my sidebar yet and I need help. I’m not very good at this website stuff yet. YET! Hopefully I will get that issue taken care of soon.

“Hey Mom, guess what kind of dancing letter I am!”
“You’re a dancing ‘D’!”
“No, I’m a dancing “i” because I’m straight with a little circle head.”
Too true, Drew, too true.
